Frequently asked questions
Avalon Room is available on iPhone and iPad. See the App Store listing for the latest compatibility details.
No. Avalon Room works offline and does not require an account, backend connection, or sign-in. A grown-up only needs a connection to buy or restore an optional collection through Apple.
Saved rooms, stars, challenges, unlocks, and preferences are stored locally on the device.
There are no ads, subscriptions, or loot boxes. Starting with version 1.1, grown-ups can choose optional one-time collections, Storybook Worlds and Winter Wonderland, from a grown-up area behind a grown-up check. Everything else, including stars, is earned through play. Stars cannot be bought and have no real-world value.
Open Settings, pass the grown-up check, choose the collection, and tap Restore a Previous Purchase. Collections support Family Sharing, and Reset Progress never removes a purchase.
Before purchases or sharing, Avalon Room shows three numbers written out in words, like “three · eight · one,” and a grown-up taps them on a large keypad. After three wrong tries, the keypad pauses for a minute. Once passed, it stays open for a few minutes so grown-ups are not asked again right away. It helps prevent accidental taps. For extra protection, turn on Ask to Buy or Screen Time purchase approval.
A room can be exported through the native iOS share sheet after a simple grown-up check. Avalon Room does not upload the image or host a public gallery.
A grown-up can open Settings and choose Reset Progress. The app asks for confirmation before local rooms and progress are cleared.
